The Nuggets had been too horrible to watch during the season so I thought I'd check out these "new" Nuggets tonight. Nothing different. They should be the Denver Masons as they excel at throwing up bricks. Same garbage, different year. Spurs in five. Just unbelievable how they can't make a basket and the more they miss the worse shots they try. I've yet to see Carmelo Brickster play a decent game. I guess next year they'll be scattered around the league on different teams. Don't get invested in them, they'll mess on you every time. I just don't see what Karl contributes. Bye, bye, poor nugs.

Rholzman is a hater. The whole game, every shot iverson took he got fouled. I know that's not an excuse bcuz the Nuggets missed open layups and just couldn't defend Manu and Tim that game. I bet that the Nuggets would win this series and go all the way. Game 3 and 4 will be different bcuz they're in Denver and the referees will be better. they sucked on Wednesday. Giving in to all the flops that the Spurs did, but Iverson, the smallest guy on the court got beat up the whole game and couldn't get to the foul line not once. it was complete discrimination.

Spur fans should start wearing the reffs jerseys! cause if it wasn't for the reffs giving them very questionable calls the spurs would suck! all i have to say to you spur fans is we would sweep you if the calls were even through the series.. so spur fans go buy a danny crawford jersey cause there the only reason you have ever won anything. Spurs are a disgrace to basketball everwhere..

bricks, missed layups, shoddy defense.....

and they still came back from 15-17 defecits not once, but twice. were within 3 with 45 seconds to go.....in San Antonio.

There's no reason to declare definitively that the Nugs are going all the way, or even winning this series. But likewise, there is ABSOLUTELY no reason to say the Spurs have wrapped up anything yet, either.

I wouldn't doubt if this series goes 7

ok, the nuggets missed 18 layups. That is unbeilievable. Iverson himself missed 8 I think, which will probably never happen again and just make him mad enough to dominate game 3 on saturday. If we make half of those layups, thats 18 points and the game is over! I think carmello and A.I. are a bunch of whiners. They just need to shut up and play. You could tell the refs were under Iverson's skin, you could see it in his body language. But also missing all those open easy layups didn't help. But the thing that I hate is that it is never his fault, it's always he got fouled on the way up. But how many times do you watch the replay and see no foul at all but A.I. or Melo are complaining non-stop. If they spent half as much time playing basketball and running up and down the court as they do whining, we would probably win! You know, I don't think refs like it when you don't shut up the entire game. It definently makes more calls go against us. Overall though, I think we have a good chance, we need to pass the ball more. Not enough running and pushing the ball. Those layups will start going in and it will be the nugs in 6... maybe.

Hey Rholzman why do you even watch the game then come talk trash if you hate the Nuggets. If you were a Spurs fan I could understand your resentment, but your just a hater. You saying that you have yet to see Melo play a good game shows how ignorant you are when it comes to the Nuggets. Melo finished second in the whole league in scoring if you do that you are going a few good nights. Obviously you didn't watch game one where he dropped 30, now to anyone who knows sports, and has a brain 30 in the playoffs is huge. #2 As far a AI getting fouled on every single shot I disagree with that. There were some calls that could have gone his way, but didn't. The refs didn't make all of those turnovers in the first half the Nuggets did. I think officiating didn't determine the outcome of this game. It's a best of 5 series now, and the Nuggets have home court. I like their chances, which is more than I could of said before game one.

Karl, Needs to bench JR. Smith for good. We need production not hopes. He should play anthony carter or the more offensive player van wafer. They cant do no worse than JR. Smith.

First of all, it is going to be tough for the nugs to win this series when the person with the most impact is going to be the referee(s). Denver needs to make a major statement at the pepsi center, one that goes beyond basketball: Colorado can't let another Texan feel at home here. Texans have already ruined many good things in Colorado, so for us to stomp them into history would be almost as gratifying as them giving their whole state back to Mexico. These nugs should wear paint on their face for game 3, braveheart style!!!...Don't be surprised if Bowen and Ginobili throw in a series-changing cheapshot, the Spurs are going need it.

I have been a Nuggets fan forever and always will be, but they are not in the same league as the Spurs. AI is great, but doesn't know when he should give up the ball. He cost us the game. Let's be real.

i like jr smith, but he doesn't seem to be able to get his head into the last part of this season. what happend to that sampson dude? i might go after him; dude's big with major hops; the kind of player we need as back-up in this series.

Camby blew a great comeback with that missed dunk, Iverson wasn't gonna let the Nuggets lose....he wouldn't missed when the game counted....they could of controled the game or at least tied it with a 3 if Camby never missed the dunk. That was a killer. Iverson lost the game?? You saying he doesn't know when to give it up? lol Half of your team late in that game doesn't evewn want the ball homie. How you figure Iverson lost the game? Your defense was giving up too many lay ups and too much penatration, your bigs are not playing the pick and roll good in game 2 and your bench isn't giving you anything. There's where you lost the game. Get a life!

Its funny how spur fans try to act like there team doesn't get lame calls and there players arnt dirty how many people have twisted an ankle from bowen stepping under them?. these fans are proud to have a player named ginobli who would rather flop on the ground acting hurt and get to the foul line then acctually play basketball..The only player on your team thats good is duncan..If my nuggets win im throwng a kegger!!

Here we go again with Karl complaining about the refs. He did it in 05 and he does it two years later. I hate to say it, but im ashamed he even wore the silver and black. Denver has a solid team, with two superstars, solid center in Nene, but they cant get past the refs. They need to realize this is the playoffs, get over it, and play.....

For one the only reason JR isn't consistent is Furious PMS Karl. He never lets his players know there roles. You have one bad game and you are in the doghouse unless you are named Najera or Boykins who I think he had an affair with. Boykins would go 6 for 19 and he'd say he is the only one who played good. Najera has now taken his place. He can't match up with Oberto, Duncan, or Horry yet he is playing over Evans. Evans needs to be in there they need a physical presence. Oh and Karl says JR isn't playing as much because of defense what a crock. He played good D down the stretch. Fire Karl. Give us Phil Jackson, Sloan, Riley any good coach and we'd coast to the finals. With Karl it is going to be a battle.

Denver fans...come on, you all have a good team. Tim Duncan got raped on that last basket he made and didn't get the call. What game are you watching? If you look at the game you will also see that Ginobili was raked across the face. The point is AI, Melo, Tim, everyone gets fouled, some called other not. Let's just let them play the game. I have respect for Denver and knew that this would not be a cake walk. The fouls were pretty evenly called in this game, Spurs were just more aggressive as the nuggets were in game 1. Here's to a great series, but I will take Spurs in 6

rholzman, if you had any brains left in that coconut of yours you would have known how good the nuggets played at the end of the year. And by the way the spurs also could not get the ball in the basket in game one. This is an interesting series that could go either way.. Go Spurs

Fire Karl, I agree with u that another good coach would probably coast us to the finals but I cant blame him for getting on JR Smith. If it was me he wouldnt be playing. We need some bench points bad. Plus veterans wins championships. Im telling u karl should go with Anthony Carter.

I want karl to direct this team. He hasnt been doing that. That free-flow do what u want offense doesnt cut it. He should be calling plays. Calling timeouts when his team is making boneheaded decisions. Talking about it in the media afterwards doesnt help his team win that game. he needs to concentrate on the game at hand and talk to his players. He needs to pull out the chalk board before the last quarter and the team is trying to fight back. Too late then.

If Karl call plays we would see the nuggs doing plays that work and not doing something different all the time. the spurs and no one else can stop the NUGGS when they set picks. The one on one basketball has to stop. Against the spurs the Melo post up does not work. Nene should post up like he did the 1st game. But karl went with something different and away from what worked game 1. What about the Melo pick for Ai that worked so many times in game 1. Didnt use it. What about the pick n roll with Nene? It usually work or results in a high percentage shot for either nene or Ai or Blake.

Again karl needs to take over the plays. I want to see some consistent plays not one on ball. someone needs to tell camby his foul line jumper is gone. Do something else like get down low on the baselines. When Melo faced up instead of posting up against the spurs he was able to do one cross over dribble and explode past his man. Melo posting up only gets a quick double team and he doesnt seem to be a great passer out of the double teams.

Ai needs to attack the basket more. Ai and everyone else should at least dunk the ball a couple of times. Its hard to do layups against a shotblocking team. Ai needs to pass more get those 10 assist games back. 5assists aint cutting it. In philly in playoffs he got 15 assists on occasions he needs to get back to being that player.

Karl says he is not concerned with bench production. Only someone who hasnt won a championship would say that. If JR Smith is not playing great D. Not rebounding like a beast. Not scoring. What is he in there for?

He probably would say to open up the floor. I would say set some picks and u would automatically open up the floor and get the dead weight off the court.

ai made the nuggets lose??...are you serious the game i was watching showed ai the only one making shots at the end and not to mention that killer 3 that bought the nuggets within three..the whole team made the nuggets lose...everybody missed shots, layups, and dunks, it was just one of those nights...San Antonio had it in game one and the nuggets had it in game 2 the ball just wouldn't go in

If JR Smith was on the Spurs, he'd be scoring 20 or 30. Somehow he fell out the rotation when Karl decided the Nugs were a defensive team. If Reggie was on the Spurs, he would be their most physical "almost" big man. Karl doesnt realize what he has on the bench. Instead he goes with Najera, who should be mopping up against Elson in Game 3. It's not too late to get JR back into it, he needs 20 minutes of play before all his shots start falling. But, if we are going to play some ugly spurs basketball, we gotta throw Reggie at them. 10 boards and 5 hard fouls.

I would like to see Ai get more than 5 assists. I think he needs a Larry Brown speech about "Play the right way".

I want his assists to be to Nene going strong to the basket.

Calling Coach Karl, If U know Jr Smith plays no D, isnt scoring. Why is he playing? He's not a playoff veteran.

Here's The Bottom LINE: If the Nuggets are gonna have a shot at winning, LK, Jr., Blake are gonna have to be able to make open shots like Horry, Finley, does....what's going on is the Spurs all sagging in the lane and shifting towards Iverson and Melo when they get the ball and they have to go against the whole team...Spurs defense too good for that...they have to drive and Kick and hope LK, JR and those guys can make the Spurs pay

I am with Spurfan01, you guys end up berating not only the Spurs but your own team---stop the insanity! And while you are at it, please stop with the whining about fouls! Also, take a breath and realize that the only reason you obsess about Manu is that your coach manipulated everyone into obsessing about Manu two years ago. Karl imagines the refs will shut down Ginobili when the Nuggets can't (even with Flagrant-2 fouls!).

I am proud of our Spurs and coach---they continue to give respect to your team. We will continue to give that respect to the Nuggets even if you don't! Quit your howling and enjoy a great series!
